I am a former elementary school teacher and the spouse of a retired USAF Officer. Currently I serve as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for St. Louis County where I advocate for a child in the foster care system of Missouri. My husband and I live in St. Charles, MO with our fur child, Mabel the Mixed Mutt. (Julianne the Welsh Terrier was our beloved fur child for 12 wonderful years). I’m an avid reader, belonging to two book clubs, and a bible study group. When my nose is not in a book, you’ll catch me planning my next trip, as traveling is my greatest passion. This is my first children’s book.
“Julianne’s Big Move” is the story of a spunky Welsh Terrier who learns that she must pack her things, say goodbye to her friends, and move to her new home when her dad accepts a job in another state. She’s feeling a little uneasy over this move but her parents teach her how to look at this experience as a great big adventure.
